Master Bedroom Ideas

I'd been asked by some friends for some ideas for their new master bedroom.  I put together a little idea board and kept the budget in mind.  The budget came out to about $3,500.00, including the king size mattress, so over all pretty reasonable.
Starting Clockwise:

1.  Target: Antique Inspired Scrollwork Table Lamp - 64.99
(I would probably look at Hobby Lobby first to be able to find a pair of lamps for the price of this using the 50% off coupons they put in their weekly ads)

2.  American Signature/Value City Furniture: Kensington Night Stand - 349.99 each

3.  Target: Safavieh Colin Tufted Cream Club Chair - 499.99

4. Chart of the Sea Depths 40 x 30 - 99.99

5.  American Signature/Value City Furniture:  Kensington Canopy King Bed- 999.99

6.  American Signature/Value City Furniture: Kensington Dresser - 699.99

7.  Pottery Barn: Morgan Duvet Cover - 229.00

8.  Target: Button Tufted Upholstered Bench in Sandstone - 229.00

Mattress- From BigLots- The King Serta Perfect Sleeper with pillow top, listed at $699.99.  If you join the Rewards Club you can get 20% your first purchase.  That would bring the price down to 560.00, and if you watch the sale and adds sometime the mattresses are already 20% off, so on sale and with the coupon you can get a King mattress set for about 450.00!

I also get coupons for 10% off at Value City/American Signature (depending on location, the name can change) so that brings down the 2 night stands, king bed, and dresser to about  $2150

Target also often offers 15% off furniture purchases of 125.00 or more, bringing the chair and bench down to about $620.00

Finally, Pottery Barn offers 20% for friends and family weekend in October, which can bring the cost of the bedding and pillows down.  I would also head to Home Goods to find matching pillows at much lower prices.
