My $500.00 Budget Kitchen Makeover

I really like Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter for the walls:

For the cabinets, I am going to go with the Rustoleum Cabinet Transformation kits in Pure White.  I read a number of reviews about the product and they have all been positive.  I like the shape of the cabinets and the door detail, they are just dark and dated so white will really brighten up the space.

***Until the end of the day tomorrow 4/1 the small size Transformation kits are on sale for $45 a piece- I bought 2 with tax for $95.00 as opposed to a large kit for 149.00 from HomeDepot.com********

For under the counter ledge that faces into the breakfast room, I want to update the cabinet front with some brackets similar to this one:

Home Depot carries a similar design for less than $7.00 a piece: Foster Decorative Millwork 7 in. x 5 in. x 2-1/4 in. Wood Bracket

Next is the backsplash:  Now I LOVE white cabinet and Carrera Marble, It just has this timeless look to it.  Home Depot offers this subway tile pattern for $5.49 a square foot. So for about $120.00 for the whole kitchen, that's a great deal!
My Final upgrade will be all new hardware, for the drawers I
know I want drawer pulls, but I'm not sure about the handles, if I want to go with a knob or a handle.
Here is Ikea's 2 for 7.99 pulls,
