While I was at Home Depot today, I picked up one box of marble backsplash tiles just to get an idea of what they will look like in person. I have to buy about 20 or so more boxes, but I think the key will be to open many boxes and so over the grain patters to give a more random look to the backsplash. Over all for the price I am really happy with the product.
Next I got a pair of hinges to make sure if the wholes on the cabinets from the old hinges would line up, luckily they did! I went with white. I was going to go with chrome to match the handles but I like the white better as it will blend in more.
